Google releases “Google Shopping” beta in Spain
Is available in the U.S.A., UK, Germany, France, Korea, China, Japan and Australia and releases today in Spain, Italy and the Netherlands.
Google shopping allows users to find, compare and discover information about products and where to buy them.
Companies can offer their products for free, drive traffic to your site and increase the number of visits and sales.
According to comScore, nearly 75% of European Internet users visited in January 2011 an e-commerce web site. 66% over the same month last year.
Google Shopping helps retailers and consumers to contact in real time. Online stores can connect with consumers showing their products, helping to drive traffic to their websites and increase the number of sales, the users have a simple tool to find the product you are looking for.
Internet users can find the products www.google.es/shopping or search Google.es and click on the “Shopping” link, to view only the Google Shopping’s results.
Stores can use free Google Shopping, including the products of their online stores with Google Merchant Center (google.es/merchants).
Vendors can use AdWords Product Extensions. This uses the information and displays it in form of advertisement where relevant to the user’s search.
